What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?
The Region Advisor (RA) supports District Leaders achieve the District Mission – which is to build new clubs and support all clubs achieve excellence. The RA typically works closely with the District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director and the Public Relations Manager. In my role as Head of Learning & Development (L&D), I support the business identify and nurture talent. My experience will enable me to effectively empower District Leaders. I have extensive Facilitation experience, which complements the RA role.
What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?
In my line of work, I coach and mentor senior leaders and staff. In my Toastmasters journey, for as long as I can remember, I have always had a mentee. Mentoring is one way of living my purpose.
Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?
Toastmasters has transformed my professional career, having served five-consecutive years in Cabinet. This is my opportunity to give back as I support District leaders and empower them to be the best leaders they can be. I am highly organized, a great listener and believe I can be an incredible pillar of support.
