Think your company or your club corporate sponsor might be an ideal convention prospect? Share sponsorship details with company representatives to help them gain worldwide exposure to their brand, products, and services.
Is Your District on the Distinguished Track?— With only three months left in the 2021–2022 District Recognition Program year, the best way to make sure your District is on target is by regularly monitoring the District Performance Reports.
Prepare for District Leader Transitions — As District elections conclude, managing the transition of new leaders to the next program year is crucial for success. View the Leadership Transition webpage for suggestions on how to begin planning. If you need help, email districts@toastmasters.org.
Submit New Club Forms Early — More clubs charter in May and June than at any other time, so beat the rush and send your new club documents early for timely processing. If you have questions, review the How to Build a Toastmasters Club manual or email newclubs@toastmasters.org.

Area Directors: Get Visit Credit — Area Directors must submit reports for 75% of their clubs for both rounds of visits to receive credit in the Distinguished Area Program. Area Directors are encouraged to visit clubs at least four times during the program year to ensure clubs are well-supported. This support affects the future of clubs in the Area and empowers officers and members to achieve their goals. After club visits are complete, submit an Area Director’s Club Visit Report online through District Central. Second-round submissions are due May 31.

Updated District Leader Kit — The District Leader Kit has been updated for the 2022-2023 Program year. Visit the District Leader Tools page (under the Leadership Central tab) to find the updated resources. Electronic versions of the manuals are accessible, except for the 2022-2023 Speech Contest Rulebook, which will be available at the beginning of the new program year.
Welcome 2022–2023 Region Advisors — Congratulations to the newly appointed 2022-2023 Region Advisors! Did you know RAs were created to support you in fulfilling the District mission? Learn more about their role and how your District will benefit by working with them.
Education/Resource Materials: Now in New Languages! — New translations of Toastmasters materials, many in languages that have never been available before, are coming online through the District Translation Program. Online Navigator in All Languages! — The online Navigator is now available in all languages officially supported by Toastmasters: Arabic, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Tamil, and Traditional Chinese. Members can access it in their preferred language from their Toastmasters profile page.
ERP and April/May Service Interruptions — The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, which will serve as the foundation for the overall digital strategy that supports the Toastmasters online experience, is preparing for a May unveiling! With it, comes exciting opportunities for the near future, including the ability for members to directly pay their dues online. To support next month’s launch of ERP, some of the organization’s online and back-office transactions, as well as its website availability, will be temporarily suspended. 2022 International Speech Contest Semifinals — This year, following the region quarterfinals, two contestants from each region will be randomly assigned to one of four International Speech Contest Semifinals, which will be held during the Toastmasters International Convention in August. The regions for each semifinal have been determined, so be on the lookout for updates regarding who will represent your region!
