I am accustomed to purchasing special souvenirs each year at the convention; is merchandise available this year?Back to Top
Absolutely! You will be able to purchase exclusive convention souvenirs onsite. Please note that you must use a major credit card for purchase; no cash will be accepted. In-person attendees can also preorder two special convention items during the registration process: the #CelebrateToastmasters100 Bag and the newly released Toastmasters history book. Please note that you will be able to pick up these items at the Registration Desk when you arrive onsite.

What is included in the online convention experience?Back to Top
When you purchase the online convention experience, you gain access to livestreamed events happening in real time, allowing you to immerse yourself in the excitement of the convention as it unfolds.
Can't catch a session live? No worries! By the end of August, On Demand replay will be available to you as an online attendee, giving you the flexibility to rewatch the recorded events at your convenience. Once On Demand, these recorded events will be accessible with unlimited viewing, so you can revisit favorite moments or catch up on missed sessions. So, whether you're tuning in live or catching up later, the online convention experience provides you with a comprehensive and flexible way to engage with convention highlights.

Which time zone will all convention events be listed in?Back to Top
The convention will take place in Anaheim, California, United States, and all events and activities will be in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -7, which is the local time in Anaheim. For your convenience, a time zone converter will be listed at the top of each agenda page.

Is there an age restriction for in-person convention attendees?Back to Top
At this time, all convention attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend the 2024 International Convention. Due to the nature of the event, Toastmasters International does not prohibit any speech topic, content, or language, as we recognize attendees may learn much about the world around them from listening to others' speaking on a variety of subjects. For these reasons, Toastmasters International requires attendees be an adult that is at least 18 years of age.

I am coming to the convention from outside of the United States. Where can I find visa information?Back to Top
A non-U.S. citizen entering the U.S. is required to present a passport and a valid visa issued by a U.S. Consular Official, unless he or she is a citizen of a country eligible for the Visa Waiver Program, or a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or a citizen of Canada. To obtain a list of countries eligible for the Visa Waiver Program, please reference the Homeland Security website.

Is there a discounted hotel rate available?Back to Top
Toastmasters International has negotiated a discounted room rate of $195 USD plus taxes and fees. Hotel room rates and services are subject to applicable State and Local fees and taxes, currently 15% Occupancy Tax, 2% Anaheim Tourism Improvement District Assessment, and California State Tourism Fee of $0.94 USD and $0.14 USD tax per room night. These fees and taxes are subject to change without prior notice.
This special rate is available to Toastmasters convention attendees through July 17, 2024, on a first-come, first-served basis while supply lasts. Hotel availability, room type, and Toastmasters room rate is limited to the convention dates. Additional nights outside of the convention dates and the discounted room rate are based on availability and the hotel's discretion.

How do I purchase an additional ticket to the President's Celebration or other special event tickets?Back to Top
To assist in tracking meal and seating selection, as well as dietary needs, special event tickets must be purchased individually. Register the attendee using this registration link to purchase their ticket(s). All special event tickets can be purchased in this manner without purchasing a convention registration.

President's Celebration tickets, which includes dinner and dancing, must be purchased individually to assist in tracking meal and seating selection, as well as dietary needs. Check back soon for information on how to coordinate with your fellow Toastmasters for same-table seating opportunities.

Yes, there will be a registration fee to attend the in-person experience in Anaheim, California, United States, and a separate fee to attend the online experience.

How do I request a registration receipt/invoice for the online convention?Back to Top
Upon completing the purchase of the online convention, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. This email will include the order details, including the amount paid.
To ensure that you receive this email, we recommend adding the event email address to your address book. This process, also known as "whitelisting," ensures that all correspondence is delivered straight to your inbox and not intercepted by a spam or junk mail filter.

The ‘100 Days at $100 (USD) Off’ promotion ended on November 17, 2023, at 11:59 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -7. This promotion cannot be applied to registrations after that date.

How do I request a registration receipt/invoice for the in-person convention?Back to Top
Upon registering, your confirmation email will include payment information for your records. Those unable to locate their confirmation email can email conventionregistration@toastmasters.org to request a receipt/invoice.
Please allow up to two (2) business days for a response.

What is the cancellation policy?Back to Top
Cancellation requests for in-person and online convention registration must be submitted no later than July 31, 2024, at 11:59 pm Mountain Daylight Time/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -6. Cancellations will not be accepted after this date.
All in-person cancellations will be subject to a $25 USD administrative fee. Please submit your special event ticket and registration cancellation requests or email: conventionregistration@toastmasters.org.

The International Speech Contest Semifinals and World Championship of Public Speaking will be conducted as hybrid contests from Anaheim, California, United States. More information, including the region assignments for each of the four semifinals, will be made available in July.

Toastmasters International must use a variety of vendors to provide key services to ensure that the convention is available to online attendees. The fee of $100USD will allow Toastmasters International to cover the incurred vendor costs.

The online registration system asked me to create a profile. What does this mean and what is visible to others?Back to Top
The attendee profile is considered your convention badge. Fellow convention attendees will only be able to view your name should you choose to chat within the event sessions.

Please note that for support assistance, they are available Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT)/ Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -5. If you contact support during business hours, the average response time is under one hour. If you contact support after hours, you can expect a response the following business day.

For the best experience, use Chrome on a desktop or laptop computer. If you don’t already have Chrome, you can download it for free here: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/.
Additionally, browser support includes the latest two versions of all browsers, unless otherwise noted. Some browsers that are frequently used include the following:

- Microsoft Edge

- Google Chrome for Android
Older operating systems might not support the most recent version of your browser. If you can't update your browser due to your operating system, then consider updating your operating system or device.
If your browser displays a message that you need to update your browser when you try to access the site, then update your browser by following the prompts on the screen. If the message is still displayed after you update your browser, then you probably need to clear your cache. Registered attendees will receive an invitation email to log into the online convention on August 14, 2024. The email will include a link to the online convention platform where you can view the event.
