What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

The Region Advisor role is to support District leaders in achieving the district mission which is to build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence. As a District leader I spent the last six years in various District positions supporting the district mission and understand how my experience relates to the Region Advisor role. My experience in strategic planning and implementation, marketing strategies as well as change and project management, will be an asset to this role.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

As a coach I got the opportunity to set up a strategic plan or framework based on needs to guide and help the individuals or group achieve their goals and grow. It was also key to understand that what works for one does not work for all. One must also be aware of the importance of clear communication, team work and accountability in order to be successful.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

Serving as a Region Advisor will allow me to share my knowledge and experience gained in my roles at the district level. My background in strategic planning, change and project management will help me to better support the districts to focus on the key areas necessary to achieve the district mission.
