What key factors are most important as a Region Advisor to help the District achieve success?

Some key factors that are important for the Region Advisor to help Districts achieve success includes building and fostering relationships with District leaders and members. Also, mentoring and coaching leaders, sharing advice, best practices, resources, and tools to ensure that District leaders are successful during their term and for future years to come. Additionally, working as a team with the International Director. Lastly, serving as a liaison between Districts and the World Headquarters staff. I feel these are key factors for Region Advisors to help Districts achieve excellence and success.

What key strengths do you bring to the District leaders?

Some of my key strengths include my passion, experience, and knowledge of the Toastmaster program as a member of Toastmasters for over 16 years. During that time, I have been a very active member in District 40 and District 66 and supported the Districts in various capacities such as Nomination Chair, Credentials Chair, Conference Team (Chair, Committee member, Speaker, etc.), and TLI/ Club Officers Trainings. I have held all three District leadership roles, Division Director, Area Director (two times), in addition to all club officer roles (except Secretary). I believe my servitude leadership style, professional work experience, strategic insight, time management, and organizational skills will be helpful to the District leaders.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

It would be an honor to serve the District leaders of Region 6 once again as a Region Advisor. I would support leaders to the best of my ability based on my 16 years of Toastmasters knowledge and experience, 40+ years of business experience, in addition to my many years of Community Service experience. Toastmasters has truly been transformational for me. It has helped me grow exponentially as a communicator and a leader over the years and I want to share my lessons learned, knowledge, and experience with current and future District leaders.
