What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

I believe the Region Advisor could be a bridge to connect Districts with World Headquarters, as well as be a mentor/supporter by your side, to help with the District affairs in general, as well as support every District leader to achieve leadership growth. During my four years of trio & IPDD experience, together with my learning and understanding of governing documents and rules, I'm with strong confidence in providing outstanding support as Region Advisor.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

When I was the District Conference Chair, I kept close connection with our core team, making schedules to support one another in sharing their progress. Through this, everyone learned how to make decisions and proceed with implementations. After a while, I shifted to help them with planning for their own teams, set check points, get feedback and arranging resources. In the end we managed to present a wonderful conference, and I'm more delighted to see many members' growth.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

After 8 years of Toastmasters' experience starting from zero to a District leader, I believe Toastmasters has already become a part of my life, that's why I wish to keep learning and growing here. Serving as Region Advisor will give me the opportunity to connect to the bigger world of Toastmasters, through communication and leadership discussions, I could use my experiences and skills to support more Districts and individuals to become excellent, and through which I will become better.
