Margaret Page, DTM 2021–2022 International President
Margaret Page is a lifelong entrepreneur and investor. In her current role as a business and etiquette coach, she helps corporations around the world build team dynamics, sharpen cultural intelligence skills, and hone soft skills. She is particularly focused on championing women, especially those running for political office or seeking equal representation on volunteer and corporate boards.
After serving as a leader at all levels in Toastmasters, Page became the seventh woman to serve as International President. As President, she is looking forward to honoring the rich traditions of the organization, while helping to build back stronger.

Cindy Laatsch Past Region Advisor
Cindy Laatsch’s desire to find a group of like-minded, lifelong learners brought her to Toastmasters in 2009. Her passion for Toastmasters saw Laatsch introduce the organization and start a club at her workplace, Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
In her time as a Toastmaster, Laatsch has served in every club officer position except Treasurer, although she says there’s still time! Her leadership journey has seen her also serve as Area Director, Division Director, Club Growth Director, Program Quality Director, District Director, and her most recent role of Region Advisor. Toastmasters’ core values are ongoing motivators for Laatsch and she believes that everything revolves around the member’s experience.
Neulessa Lundy-MajorVice President Education
For the last 31 years, Neulessa Lundy-Major has dedicated herself to guiding and educating the youth in the Bahamas. She helps transform lives and aims to ensure that each young person she interacts with reaches their potential. Currently, she works as junior administrator for The Central Abaco Primary School.
Lundy-Major has helped found clubs throughout the Bahamas while also finding time to be an active member of a club in Canada. She has served as an Area Director, two terms as Club President, and currently is the Vice President Education for the B.U.T. Abaco Trail Blazers Club.
Kailayapillai Thayalan Immediate Past District Director
Kailayapillai Thayalan has more than 35 years of professional experience in retail, general trading, and construction industries. In his career, he has worked as a sales executive, marketing manager, finance manager, assistant general manager, and currently works as chief financial officer.
Thayalan helped charter eight clubs and has held the offices of Club Growth Director, Program Quality Director, and District Director for District 116. In his period as District Trio, he helped his District achieve Smedley Distinguished District and be the highest percentage achievers of Distinguished clubs all three years. Notably, he led District 116 through the pandemic and retained the Smedley Distinguished status.
